Because I have.
When I was around 4 years old, I was on holiday in Greece with my parents and the weather was extremely hot so we decided to stay around the pool by our apartment for the day. However, I couldn't swim so I kept my distance from the pool. Unfortunately I couldn't control the water that was on the ground around the pool and I slipped and fell in. My mum acted as quick as she could and dove in to save me. It wasn't traumatic or anything, because during the summer these days you can hardly get me out of the water. But that isn't to say it wasn't scary.
Being only able to see one colour, hearing nothing but my pounding heart in my chest. To this day I despise silence.

But anyway that's not the point. My point is anxiety isn't that different. Don't ever, ever, ever tell anyone that it isn't a real thing. It may not look like it on the outside, but on the inside the sufferers world is basically dissolving with every second that passes
NOW IT'S YOUR TURN

Any advice on how to help?
